In 1993 he moved to France because of Nazism and the persecution of Jewish journalists and photographers. He changed his name from 'Friedmann' and adopted the name 'Robert Capa'

Key Photograph 4

My plan was to take a number of shot with a shadow on one side of the face. I did this by using a light which i put at one side of the face. I was trying to get a mid close up shot which was very simple.

I choose this Photograph because it has the best shadow which i could work with when i edited the photograph. The photograph was suitable because to showed one of the characters in the film.

When i edited the photograph i made the shadow darker so you could only see one half of the face. Then i used a blue filter which turned the face into a cold coulor.

The lighting of the photograph shows a cold and dark film. It also shows the character has something important that he has seen. The resolution brings out the face more than the original face because it shows more detail.

I think that the face work very well on both the DVD box and the poster. This is because it brings in the audience. It also works well because it blends in with the whole poster which makes it looks mysterious. It also shows off one of the main characters in the film and it also works with the thriller genre.

My intention was to take a number of photographs of the MRC building. My plan was to get a good shot of the MRC building and also show something that shows off the college as well in the photograph. All of these photographs were taken on my phone because some else was using the camera at the same time. My phone still allowed me to get the same result.

I selected this photogrpah because it showed something about the college. I also selected it because it looked good with the trees in the shot. It was suitable for the poster because it showed that it was at a college and it also showed that it was part of the film.

In the edited photograph all i did was use a blue filter and i also darkened the background and the grass. I also stretched the photograph a bit to make the MRC building look bigger the it actually was.

What i like about the photgraph is the it makes the MRC building look scary and also makes it look like the top government building. I also like the darkness of the Photograph because it makes it look mysterious and threatening.

The purpose of the photograph in poster is to make people think what is the building about in the film. I also think it also works very well with the poster and the DVD box because it just fits in very well with the face on both the poster and the DVD box.

Key Photograph 2

My plan was to take an action shot of Matt ruing  up some stairs in the college to make it look like someone or something is after him. I tried to use depth of filed in the shot and also rule of thirds. The photographs that i took were very hard to get in focus and also to get the depth of field.

In my editing i used a lot of different colours and drightness settings. I tried to make the photograph look interesting and also make it stand out when people looked at it. I also used a blue filter that changed the collour of the walls a
round Matt.

I choose this photograph because it had a hint of depth of field. I also choose it because it showed an action movement. It also looked very interesting when edited.

The lighting of the photograph allows the viewer to see what the picture is of. It also makes the photograph very interesting when looking at it. By making the corridor orange it shows that it's safer than up stairs where the walls are blue and cold.

The photograph works well on the DVD box because it shows an action shot. It also works well because it uses some of the colours on the DVD box in the photograph so it works well with the DVD box.

Key Photograph 1

I planned to take an over the shoulder shot of Matt walking away from the camera. The reason there is only one photograph is because i took the picture randomly and it just looked perfect. In this shot i used the focus to concentrate on Matt and to make the shot have a depth of field.

The reason i choose this photograph was because it was the only one i had of this shot. The other reason was because it looked perfect first time i took it.Even though i took it randomly. I also choose it because it had a good depth of field shot which we had to show in one of are photographs.

I edited this photograph in a way to make it look dark and a bit mysterious. I also used another frame that made the photograph look blue which made it fit in with my DVD box. I also played around with the brightness of the photograph and tried to make Matt stand out from the rest of the photograph. I also cropped a small bit of the photograph which didn't look good the the photo.

What i like about the photograph is that it focus on just Matt. I also like that it uses a hint of blue that kind of makes it look like it belongs in a thriller movie. I also like the depth of field and the resolution which doesn't make it took dark.

The photograph is to show the viewer of the film clues about what could happen or gives them ideas of something that might happen. The photograph contributes to the DVD box because it shows off some of the action scenes.
